Weather Consultant for the 2012 World Rally Championship
Ford have extended their participation in the World Rally Championship with a new two year agreement with M-Sport.

John together with partner British Weather Services have confirmed their involvement as in-house weather consultants with M-Sport for the 2012 calendar year beginning in Monte Carlo on the 17th to 22nd January.

This exciting new contract should further enhance the national and international recognition that both John and British Weather Services have gained over many years from the world of sport.

John's recent book is both an autobiography and a look back at many varieties of extreme weather ranging from the atrocious winter of 1963 through to massive floods and scorching summers. John's personal involvement with the 1987 hurricane fiasco features extensively.
John was born in West Yorkshire in July 1952 and served for 30 years with the UK Meteorological Office before going freelance.

John now acts as a broadcaster, weather consultant and partner with British Weather Services, where he fronts many contracts including the Football Association, Twickenham and leading UK racecourses such as Cheltenham, Haydock Park and Newmarket.

John was a national BBC TV broadcast meteorologist from 1985 to 2000 and contracted to BBC Radio 5Live from 2001-2005 and again in 2007.

Other TV work included resident weather presenter for the 'Travel Show', 1987-1989 along with an educational series for schools.
